Paste a list of names (one per line), choose how many winners to pick, and hit Draw. The tool uses Fisher–Yates shuffle for perfectly uniform randomness, animates the draw with a rolling number effect, and keeps a history so no one gets picked twice in the same session.
How it works
The tool reads your newline-separated list, filters empty lines, and stores the array. On Draw, it runs a Fisher–Yates shuffle (O(n)) on a copy of the remaining pool, then pops the first N items. The animation cycles through random names from the pool for ~1 second before settling on the winners. Drawn names are moved to a history list so they won't appear again until you reset.
Worked example
Class of 28 students, pick 3 for presentation duty: paste the roster (one name per line), set Winners per draw = 3, click Draw. The tool animates for ~1 second, then shows e.g. Li Wei, Chen Ming, Zhang Hua. They are added to Already drawn. Next draw picks from the remaining 25.
Practical tips
- Click Reset history to start a fresh round (all names eligible again).
- Duplicate names in the input are treated as separate entries — if you want weighted odds, add the name multiple times.
- The animation uses

Privacy and browser processing
Whenever practical, DailyWebKit processes input locally in your browser. Tools that need network data can depend on external services, browser permissions and CORS. Do not enter confidential information into a third-party network service.

Is the randomness truly fair?
Yes. The tool uses crypto.getRandomValues (cryptographic RNG) with Fisher–Yates shuffle, which gives every permutation exactly equal probability.
Can I pick the same person twice in one session?
Not by default — drawn names are moved to history and excluded from future draws. Click Reset history to make everyone eligible again.
Can I use this for a raffle with 500+ entries?
Yes, the algorithm is O(n) and handles thousands of entries instantly. The animation duration stays ~1 second regardless of list size.
Does the tool save my list?
No. The list lives only in the page memory. Refresh to clear everything.
