Headings and emphasis

Lists
Use - or * for an unordered list and 1. for an ordered list. Indent by two spaces to nest. A task list uses - [ ] for unchecked and - [x] for done.
Links and images
A link is [text](https://example.com). An image is the same with a leading bang: . Both work with relative paths or full URLs.
Code
Inline code uses single backticks: `code`. A fenced block uses three backticks, optionally with a language for syntax highlighting, such as ```js.
Tables and quotes
A table uses pipes and a divider row: | a | b | then |---|---| then the data rows. A blockquote starts each line with >. A horizontal rule is three dashes on their own line.
